    This listing is for an 1853 3 Cent Silver NGC certified MS67+. This is a wonderfully original gem uncirculated example is one of the finest examples ever graded. It has an impressive "first off the press" strike. The coin has a mostly white appearance with extremely smooth and virtually flawless fields. Still a light tone at the microscopic level confirms originality. A touch of weakness in the center of the shield lines is the only thing that separates this coin from total perfection (though one with perfect shield lines probably doesn't exist).
