Description
A Naval Cover commemorating the Maiden Voyage of the SS Mariposa from San Francisco to Syney, Australia arriving the day before the start of the 1956 Summer OLympics. Dated 26 October, 1956, and cancelled SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. Cover is backstamped 21 November, 1956, and cancelled NSW AUST with OLYMPIC GAMES 1956, 22 NOVEMBER 8 DECEMBER MELBOURNE in the killer bars. Cover is in excellent condition.
