The Mountain Lion is the North animal on both the hunting and protective prayer wheels and the elder brother of both groups of fetishes. It is carried as a prey fetish when hunting big game such as deer, elk, or buffalo, to ensure a good hunt. The Mountain Lion is also known as the traveler's protector, similar to St Christopher.
